PPIR Rules

LATE MODELS – USLMA rules plus:

Bodies
Roofs to be mounted at 4 corners to roll cage
¾” roof rails & 1 ½” rail on left side of rear window
2 – 1” metal straps on outside of back window (for blowout) & possible front
Braces from center of front window braces to dash
Rear window braces from center of window to interior
Roof minimum height 47” measured 10” back of windshield
Rear quarter height:Left 33 ½” – 34 ½”    Right 34 ½” – 35 ½”
Rear spoiler braces need to be supported with ½” rod to chassis for extra support
4 braces from rear spoiler to cover, then braces from cover to chassis
Front nose needs to have added support at sides. (If bump and run box is used the lower center section will also need support).
All wheel openings will need support front and back
Four hood pins at front and back of hood
Metal lip should be attached to the nose and extend at least ¼” past the front edge of the hood 1” – 1 ½” wide.
1/8” plate in front and back of fuel cell
Rear spoiler 70 degrees or more, no wickers

Tires
NO tire softener
Must qualify on sticker tires and run with those tires in the main
Goodyear tires $110.00 each
Tires will be same compound all the way around

Safety

Seat should be a full containment seat with left and right head supports as well as left and right shoulder supports.  If bolt on supports are used they should be braced.
Hans or Hutchens device mandatory
Toe strap on throttle pedal
Secondary throttle stop
Two return springs on throttle
Window net should be very tight.  The window net should be inboard enough to protect the drivers head in the event of a driver side contact with the wall, that is why it should also be kept tight.
All bars should be padded within arms reach of the driver.  High density padding designed for racing should be mandatory
On board fire extinguisher is mandatory.
On a pit stop, anyone that goes over the wall must wear some type of Helmut
Spotters are required if you are on the track.  No spotter, no track time.

PRO TRUCKS

Minimum 4” ride height with driver
